Reach-in Closet Revamp
This closet was in need of some TLC. You can see from the pictures that there was a lot of stuff in here that wasn’t accessible due to clothes piled on top of boxes stacked on top of other boxes. It was a closet avalanche waiting to happen!
With the addition of space saving hangers, an Elfa drawer unit, baskets to house shoes, and a hamper the client already had on hand, this closet is now a DREAM!! The client loved it so much, they were seriously contemplating removing the closet doors!
Pro Tip – Some people have organizing styles where they prefer to be able to see their belongings. Does the phrase ‘Out of sight, out of mind’ resonate with you? Or how about this – Are you the type of person who has an empty closet, but every chair back, hand rail, or clear surface has things strewn across them?...This might be an indication that you are a visual organizer. If that’s the case, don’t be afraid to remove those closet and cabinet doors! Your organization system should work for you and not against you. Nothing is set in stone. You make the rules!
